The 4 Steps to a Skin Care Routine
What does a skin care routine consist of? It can be one of the most asked questions by those looking for information on where to start, and the most answered (and in very different ways), especially online and in beauty stores!
We stand for skin minimalism - skin care minimalism . In other words, we think that you don't have to have all the products on the market, nor do all the steps that others do to achieve their goals.
To have a balanced skin, just start with the basics, which have to be chosen based on your skin type, and then analyze if you need to introduce something else, depending on the extra specific needs of your skin. It's less complicated than it looks, we promise! 😉

The 4 Steps of Skin Care
So we defend that a Skin Care Routine has four steps . Each step may have more or fewer steps, depending on the skin conditions you want to treat. The steps are:
1 - Cleaning :
Need : Essential.
How to choose? :D and according to your skin type.
How many steps in my routine does this step represent? : It should consist of one step in the morning (simple cleaning), and two steps at night (double cleaning, with oil-based cleaning - the so-called makeup remover, but which is essential even for those who don't wear make-up - followed by water-based cleaning .Learn more about Double Cleaning here !).
How many different products in my routine does this step represent? : At least we recommend that you have two products for this step.
Should include: Cleansing Oils and Balms and Cleansing Creams, Milks and Gels .
2 - Treatment :
Requirement : Optional.
How to choose? : Depending on skin concerns.
How many steps in my routine does this step represent? : It can have more or less steps, depending on the skin concerns you want to treat.
How many different products in my routine does this step represent? : Depends on skin conditions: how many and which ones.
It can include: Toners and Sprays , Exfoliating and Peeling , Mask , Eye Cream , Face Serums or Face Oils .
3 - Hydration :
Need : Essential.
How to choose? : D according to your skin type.
How many steps in my routine does this step represent? : One step in the morning and one in the evening.
How many different products in my routine does this step represent? : It can be just one product (same for morning and night), or two different products (one to use only in the morning and one to use only at night).
May include: Day Moisturizer and Night Moisturizer .
4 - Protection :
Need : Essential.
How to choose? : D according to your skin type.
How many steps in my routine does this step represent? : One step in the morning, or none at all if using a daytime moisturizer that already includes a good sun protection factor.
How many different products in my routine does this step represent? : A product, to use every day, or none at all if you use a day moisturizer that already includes a good sun protection factor.
